The G-Tech MT-2 -50˚C to 380˚C Infrared Thermometer is a device that allows you to use infrared technology to measure the temperature of an object without making direct contact with it. The device is powered by a single 9V battery, and includes a remote sensor that can be placed up to 25 feet away from the base unit. It displays measurements in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. This infrared thermometer is a great compact device for measuring temperatures from -50˚C to 380˚C, with 0.1˚C or 1˚F accuracy. It can be used for surface temperature measurements, including paint, woods, plastics, ceramics, glass and other materials. The thermometer’s resolution is 1/100 degree celsius and it has an accuracy of +/- 1/10 degree celsius with a range of -50 degree to 380 degree celsius. The G-Tech MT2 Infrared Thermometer offers three measurement modes: spot mode, continuous mode, and scan mode. These modes allow you to select the most appropriate method for your application. In spot mode, the MT2 will give you an accurate measurement from a single point in space for temperatures between -50 degree and 380 degree Celsius. In continuous mode, the MT2 will give you an accurate reading from any surface that is at least 2 feet away from the thermometer for temperatures between -50 degree and 380 degree Celsius.
