The G-Tech MT-16 -50˚C to 1600˚C Infrared Thermometer is a device that allows you to use infrared technology to measure the temperature of an object without making direct contact with it. The device is powered by a single 9V battery, and includes a remote sensor that can be placed up to 25 feet away from the base unit. It displays measurements in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. This infrared thermometer is a great compact device for measuring temperatures from -50˚C to 1600˚C, with 0.1˚C or 1˚F accuracy. It can be used for surface temperature measurements, including paint, woods, plastics, ceramics, glass and other materials. The thermometer’s resolution is 1/100 degree Celsius and it has an accuracy of +/- 1/10 degree Celsius with a range of -50 degree to 1600 degree Celsius. The G-Tech MT-16 Infrared Thermometer offers three measurement modes: spot mode, continuous mode, and scan mode. These modes allow you to select the most appropriate method for your application. In spot mode, the MT-16 will give you an accurate measurement from a single point in space for temperatures between -50 degree and 1600 degree Celsius. In continuous mode, the MT-16 will give you an accurate reading from any surface that is at least 2 feet away from the thermometer for temperatures between -50 degree and 1600 degree Celsius.
