The G-Tech GT-4000 0-10000pmol/mol Carbon Dioxide Monitor is a device intended to measure carbon dioxide concentrations in the air. A microprocessor in the device converts the data from the sensor into an electrical signal and stores it for later analysis with a computer. It boasts a high level of accuracy and resolution, as well as excellent temperature compensation properties. This highly accurate and reliable monitor provides continuous measurement of carbon dioxide in the ambient air and features a large LED display with adjustable zero and span controls, as well as a graphic trend display for analysis of periodic trends. The optional data logging feature stores over 3,000 measurements in memory for later analysis. It can measure CO2 concentrations both through direct contact with air, as well as through intervening materials such as plastic or cloth. The device measures gas content using electrochemical sensors and displays the result as ppm (parts per million) or % (percentage). It is an ideal tool for greenhouse operators monitoring CO2 levels in closed environments such as hydroponic greenhouses, enclosed grow rooms, and enclosed agricultural facilities. The display of CO2 values in percentage (% vol) eliminates the need to convert data from ppm to percentage. This feature is especially useful in closed environments where it is difficult to control humidity levels. The unit automatically converts the measured value when used at high altitude (up to 2,000 m).
